About the show: Disney's ALADDIN Dual Language Edition offers your students and community a whole new world of musical theatre education and entertainment! Our story begins centuries ago, when the royalty of Agrabah spoke one language and the citizens another. Communication is impossible without translation - which is controlled by the evil Jafar. When the rebellious princess and a delinquent street rat meet in the marketplace, they find something special in one another, work to transcend the barriers between them, and with a little magic help create a better future for themselves and for Agrabah.
This touching musical adventure will thrill both Spanish- and English-speaking audiences. The tuneful, Academy Award-winning score with lyrics in both languages - including "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me" - will make this musical crowd pleaser for many years to come!
