FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...AND ANSWERS

Any advice on buying tickets?
If you are unfamiliar with the theater, try to buy tickets either at the box office, or view the seating chart below.  While advance ticket sales are encouraged, ticket sales are always welcome on the day of the performance.  The chart shows the sections offered.  When purchasing through the website you will be given the best available seating at the time of your purchase.

Is there a charge for mailing the tickets purchased on the website?

There is no charge for leaving your tickets at will call or having them mailed to you. The website gives you the option to pick the delivery method you prefer.  Just remember there is not an extra charge for either option.

Can I exchange my tickets?
Tickets can be exchanged for another performance of the same production.  In order to do the exchange, tickets must be presented to the box office.  For those who reside out of town, please contact the box office.

What Credit Cards do you accept?

We accept Visa or Mastercard.  You can use either of these cards to pay for your order on the secure

website, over the phone when calling the Box Office or in person when placing your order.

How do I know where I am sitting?
Your ticket will tell you your section, row and seat number.  The seat numbers for the center section are 101-111 while the side sections are odd (left section 1,3,5...) and even (right section 2,4,6...) numbered.

What's the dress code?
The days of tiaras and white ties have passed - although if you want to dress to the nines, no one will stop you.  Many theater fans prefer to dress up, but do not hesitate to come directly from work - the company will welcome you in any case.  Experienced theater-goers advise to dress comfortably and bring a jacket or shawl to ward off air-conditioning chills during warmer months.

What if I have special needs?
The Croswell Opera House is sensitive to the needs of all our patrons.  If you need a hearing device or accessible seating please make these arrangements when placing your order or by calling the box office.

What happens at intermissions?
Intermissions are usually about 15 minutes long unless the program tells you otherwise.  This gives you time to chat with friends or visit the gift shop and beverage area located off the theater lobby.  A bell will warn you that the next act is about to begin.

Should I bring anything beside my ticket?
Bring a handkerchief, tissues and cough drops if you need them, but try to pop the lozenges in your mouth before the curtain rises so you don't disturb others.  Turn of cell phones and beepers.  Please do not try to follow the scene listing with a flashlight; it can be annoying to those around you.  Cameras and tape recorders are not allowed.  Food and beverages are not allowed in the auditorium.

How do I get to the Croswell?
